How it works for Tutors?

Once you completed your teaching profile, you can check the learning requirements posted by the students on the site and just contact students directly.

What are the charges I need to pay to get contact details of student?

You can contact many students for free. For others, you will need to buy the coins and use some coins to get the contact of the student. Nevertheless the charges for getting the contact of students are very less since our main intention is to help students and create a healthy tutoring ecosystem.

Can Student contact me using the site?

Yes. Students can also contact you by finding your profile from the website.

What will be the charges if student contacts me?

There will be no charges if you are directly contacted by the student.

Why do I have to pay to contact students?

We wanted to keep the site completely free for Tutors also. However, we want only relevant Tutors to contact the students and we don’t want students to get flooded with tons of messages. In order to limit the number of Tutors contacting the students and to avoid spamming for students, we have kept a minor fees to get contact of the students.

Who decides the coins required to contact a student?

Tutors decide. Coins required to contact a lead depends on the competition amongst the Tutors. Posts with low competition become free after some time and. High competition leads to an increase in price. Starting price is based on competition of similar past posts.

What happens after I contact a student?

You need to discuss the terms with student, remuneration and the payment method. We don’t charge anything from the remuneration you will be receiving. We recommend you to offer free demo session to the student to convince him/her.

What if the student doesn’t respond when I contact them?

Student may not response due to many reasons including the below:
⦁ The student may have already found another teacher.
⦁ The student didn’t find your initial message worthy of a reply.
⦁ The student checked your profile and didn’t find you relevant.
⦁ The student is just not checking the messages for any number of reasons.
If the student doesn’t have a verified phone number and even doesn’t check your message you sent using our site within 15 days, we give a full refund for the coins used to send that message. Once refunded, coins won’t be deducted again even if the student sees your message after 15 days.
If a student sees your message but doesn’t reply, then no refund is given. Also, when student has a verified phone number, no refund is provided since the contact is made using phone number.
However, we always provide a refund in case the job posted is found to be a scam/spam/mistake.

What if I can’t pay for coins?

You can still benefit from our site in any of the following way:
1. You can apply for free jobs for which demand is less or has fallen over the period.
2. Wait for students to contact you (free for you).
3. See other options like referrals to get coins for free without paying for them.
4. You can bid for free (in this you cannot send message to student) but student can contact you by spending his/her coins if he/she finds your profile relevant.

Do coins expire?

Coins don’t expire, ever.

How do I get paid?

Teachers deal directly with students or mediators. So you decide the amount and payment mode with your students/clients.
